UK

Dr Paul Caplan was a journalist, photographer, editor and teacher and is now the Course Leader for MA Advertising at London College of Communication in the UK. He imagines the near future 100 words at a time on theinternationale.com... and soon in a book, and imag(in)es objects on Instagram (@theinternationale).

Paul has worked in newsrooms, schools, universities and inside the UK government as well as running his own consultancy. He took magazines online in the (first) dotcom boom, and advised clients ranging from the NHS to Airbus on their content strategies as well as trained marketers on social media before it was a thing. He’s written for academics, lawyers and marketing directors, as well as his PhD examiner, philosopher Tim Morton.

At LCC, Paul leads a team of industry-experienced professionals building undergraduate and postgraduate programmes focused on the future of advertising and on new partnerships with industry.
